The Friends of the Visual And Performing Arts (FOVAPA) are pleased to again offer a handbuilding clay class this spring!
This class is for the beginner to the more skilled clay artist. Learn the basic hand building techniques of pinch, coil and slab to create unique and personalized pottery or sculptures of your choice. You will finish your pieces with glazes, paints or marbleizing techniques to enhance each individual piece. The number of finished pieces is entirely up to your interest and ambition. So wear old clothes and join your fellow clay artists to learn new skills or hone your existing skills to create clay pieces as unique and imaginative as you are.
This class will be open to youth in 5th grade through adults.
