Tweens and Teens Call to register to help decorate your very own area of the Canajoharie Library!
Help paint furniture, make ceiling and wall decorations, and make the new teen space of the library more fun!
Anything goes and food and supplies will be provided. Please call 673-2314 or email canlib@sals.edu to let me know if you can come help make your mark on the library!
I have heard from a few of you with ideas and here is the plan for the day:
1. Paint metal door in teen section with splatter neon paint around the silhouette of a person. We will then paint the person silhouette and this will be our magnetic poetry board.
2. Make our own magnetic poetry by writing random words in Microsoft Word then print out on magnetic paper.
3. Hang paper lanterns, fabric and other decorations from the ceiling

4. Decoupage or paint little white table and book cart. I have some magazines, but can you bring anything you want to collage with, ie: quotes from books, images from magazines, pages from old books, photos, anything!
5. Sew giant floor pillow to replace the two wooden chairs. I will bring my sewing machine, can someone else bring theirs as well?
6. Hang beaded curtain (or fabric divider if I cannot find any affordable beaded curtains)
7. Come with a name for the suggestion and a slogan.
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on and I will see you Tuesday, April 19th at 1pm!
