Canjo Eagles Christmas Party – Photos

There have been many Christmas Parties for the kids throughout our area by many generous groups. So many, in fact, that I am unable to get to all of them to bring you pictures! If you have any that you would like to share, be sure to email them to me at photos@mohawkvalleyguide.com. We love photos!

The Boiling Pot Eagles of Canajoharie hosted their annual Christmas Party for the kids last weekend, and everyone had a great time.

They played games likes “Snowball Fight”, where there were two teams who had to throw marshmallow “snowballs” into the other teams buckets. The Gift Wrap Relay, where relay teams would run, unwrap a gift (of instant mac and cheese!) and then re-wrap the gift and run back to tag their relay partner.

There were other games as well, and prizes given to teams and individuals who competed. Everyone went home with something.

Then once everyone settled down a little bit, it was storytime. Jo Ann Douglass read “The Night Before Christmas”, and just as she finished, they were visited by Santa himself! He had stopped by to bring a gift to each child.

Durring the party there was plenty of treats thanks to local businesses; Freihoffers Bakery Outlet in Nelliston, Nice N Easy in Fort Plain, Gabriana’s Pizza and Pasta in Palatine Bridge and Subway in Palatine Bridge. There were also donations from sponsors WalMart Distribution of Sharon Springs, Stewarts Shops of Fort Plain and Palatine Bridge, and McDonald’s of Palatine Bridge.
