The Canajoharie East Hill Elementary Odyssey “Nature Trail’r” team will be having a car wash, bake sale and grilling hotdogs in the Ace Hardware store parking lot this Saturday, April 24th from 10am-2pm
The Odyssey of the Mind an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. They then bring their solutions to competition on the local, state, and World level. Thousands of teams from throughout the U.S. and from about 25 other countries participate in the program.
The East Hill Division I Problem 1 Team has won 1st Place at the Regionals in Broadalbin, and placed in the State Competition in Binghamton to qualify for the World Tournament at Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan.
The Tournament is a 4 day International Festival, inviting teams from accross the US and from around the world, and East Hill Canajoharie will be there to represent our region and state.
I will be there with all my cars-these kids have done an amazing job-they are the 1st Canjo team to ever make it to World Finals-they deserve our support!
