Elves Night Out 2009 was a great success. The weather was warm, the stars were bright and the Christmas spirit was felt by everyone.
Around the memorial tree people of all ages gathered to sing carols and remember the brave fallen soldiers. The East Hill Elementary Choir lead the caroling with voices of angels and the Canajoharie High School Brass Band provided the accompaniment.

People swarmed the town streets and children were scurrying from one business to another to locate the hidden elves, tugging their families along in the scavenger hunt. The Arkell Museum at Canajoharie did a great job hosting Santa! Children lined up to whisper their Christmas wishes while enjoying hot cocoa & cookies and a horse and wagon ride around town.
Local business’s warmly welcomed everyone to share in their holiday camaraderie and generously offered an array of various snacks & refreshments.
We at Mohawk Valley Guide enjoyed meeting everyone and hope you have a safe and wonderful holiday season. Please enjoy the photo’s.
