It’s that season again in Canajoharie! Elves in the street, Santa in his wagon, and singing around the Memorial Tree.
This years elves night out will feature these expected features, along with some new ones.
4:30 – Bring your letters to directly to Santa at the Canajoharie Post Office, 50 West Main Street.
6:00 – Sing around the Christmas Tree with the Canajoharie Elementary School Choir at the Village Park, Corner of Church and Little Mohawk Street.
Later, Santa will make his rounds on the horse drawn wagon, stopping at the Arkell Museum at Canajoharie for cookies and hot chocolate.
There will be vendors at the youth center for some unique gift ideas, and local shops will be open late for additional gift shopping. Various shops will also be offering refreshments.
Also planned is a scavenger hunt for the children, a rummy run for adults, and information about a Villiage Holiday Decoration Contest for residents and businesses of Canajoharie and Palatine Bridge.
So stop on by, and enjoy these activites and fun as the elves frolick around the village this Friday.

Finally, somebody had some info on Elves night out. It always gets me in the Christmas spirit, THANKS!
I think it’s cool there doing a rummy run throughout the city & a scavenger hunt for the kids. Hope it brings lots people into the businesses & sparks new interest in shopping locally. Will you be there tonight MVG?
Yes, I have enjoyed going to the Elves Night Out for a few years now. This year we will be hanging out downtown visiting shops and singing around the Memorial Tree (I learned this week it’s a tradition that goes back almost 100 years in Canjo!) and I plan on bringing some candy to share… Have you been good this year?
I beleive so, although my husband might answer diff. See you there.
