The Schoharie County Sunshine Fair has a longer run this year, and features a midway that has played state fairs. This year, the fair runs for 9 days, covering 2 weekends.
This years fair will feature Powers’ Great American Midways, coming from the North Carolina State Fair. The midway will resemble a theme park with a giant arch.
There will be events from Pie, Hot Dog, & Jalapeno Eating Contests, Sea Lion and Quarter Horse Shows, Demolition Derby and Kiddy Tractor Pulls.
Musical Performances will include. Jay & The Americans, Jimmy Buffet Tribute, Johnny Cash Tribute, Jimmy Beaumont & the Skyliners, Steve Hall/Shotgun Red Show, Ronnie McDowell, Gary Lewis & the Playboys and an American Idol Shows, with categories from Elementary School, High School, Adults and Seniors and Duets.
