Everyone is invited to come out and support the Joe Kornas Memorial Scholarship 4-player scramble golf tournament on Saturday, June 13 at the Canajoharie Country Club. Lunch and registration begin at 11:30 a.m. The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
Entry fees are $95 per player (club non-members) and $80 per player for club members. Fees include 18 holes of golf with cart, beverages on the course, lunch, buffet dinner, prizes and t-shirts. All proceeds go to the Joe Kornas Scholarship Fund. Deadline to register is Sunday, June 7. (click here for an entry form)
Joe Kornas was a longtime Canajoharie teacher and coach who espoused principles of hard work, integrity, and commitment. The fund annually awards a graduating Canajoharie senior a scholarship in Joe’s name.
