Arkell Museum of Canajoharie
Singer/Songwriter Dan Navarro is finally coming back to New York!!!
This is an event to showcase Dan and his musical talent and to also help raise awareness about ALS and pay tribute to our friend Eric Lowen, who was diagnosed with ALS.
As part of the fantastic duo Lowen and Navarro, Dan’s music and voice are an inspiration. Eric Lowen and Dan Navarro are known for co-writing the hit tune ‘We Belong’ sung by Pat Benatar. They have also written songs for artists like The Bangles and The Four Tops. But it doesn’t stop there – Lowen and Navarro have released several CDs of their own original music.
As many know, several years ago, Eric was diagnosed with ALS. In 2009 Eric and Dan performed their last show together and since then Dan has been touring on his own.
The 17th of March is the anniversary date of when Eric was diagnosed with ALS. Although he is no longer performing, we are all blessed to have Eric still a part of our lives.
The Lowen and Navarro tribute CD ‘Keep The Light Alive’ will be given out for free to every person who attends this event. A portion of the proceeds of this CD has benefited the Eric Lowen Trust, ALSA and Augie’s Quest.
Dan will be performing Saturday, March 19th at the Arkell Museum in
Canajoharie (2 Erie Boulevard). Doors will open around 7:00 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25.00 per person (and don’t forget you get the tribute CD ‘Keep The Light Alive’ for free!!).
We are asking people to pay in advance to reserve seats as space is limited!
