Decoration Day

Come learn about the origins of Memorial Day at the Old Stone Fort, Schoharie, with a flag ceremony, cemetery tours from 1-7PM, and procession through the Old Stone Fort Cemetery at 6PM.

Outside activities are FREE.

Touring the Old Stone Fort is $5 for adults, $4.50 for seniors, and $1.50 for ages 5-17.

4-H Dog Obedience Class

Friday, May 7th, 2010

Beginner Level Dog Obedience Classes will take place in May and June at the Cobleskill Fairgrounds. Classes will be held on Wednesdays, beginning on May 12 and running through June 23. Youth must be at least 9 years old and dogs must be at least 6 months old. Rabies vaccination is required for dogs. The fee is $50.00 per youth/dog team.

National Public Gardens Day and Spring Workfest

Gross Science and Pottery Painting

The Middleburgh Library will be having two activities this Saturday-

At 11am is Gross Science, where they will help you make slime and more in this hands on Science Experiment program taught by patron Shannan Breault. This program is for children in grades 3-5.

At 1pm will be Pottery Painting, as The Studio for Art and Craft brings Paint Your Own Pottery to the Middleburgh Library.  You will be able to choose from dozens of pieces – plates, mugs, boxes, bowls, figurines, vases and more.  (more…)
