Last night was Trick-or-Treat and the Halloween Parade in Canajoharie.
It was a great time, with an amazing amount of people participating! There were haunted houses throughout the village, as residents took the time and effort decorating porches to make a memorable event for the children. Many adults also dressed up in costume as they handed out candy to children, or took their families door-to-door.
Afterwards, the Canajoharie Fire Department led a Halloween Parade throughout downtown as several local businesses tossed more candy to the children.
At the end of the parade, arriving from East Main Street, an ominous hooded creature on horseback came onto Church Street and followed the parade.
It was a great night for all!
